We are seeking a dedicated and proactive District Coordinator with 2–3 years of relevant experience in the social impact or development sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, coordinating, and monitoring various government-led schemes, training programs, and projects at the district level. This role demands strong communication, stakeholder management, and project execution skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Implementation & Coordination
1. Lead the on-ground execution of government projects, schemes, events, and training programs in the assigned district.
2. Liaise with local government officials, training partners, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery. - Stakeholder Engagement
1. Build and maintain effective working relationships with district-level government departments, NGOs, educational institutions, and community leaders.
2. Act as a point of contact for government agencies on project-related matters. - Event & Training Facilitation
1. Organize and coordinate workshops, capacity-building programs, awareness drives, and public events.
2. Ensure required logistics, materials, and support are in place for successful delivery of events. - Monitoring & Reporting
1. Track progress of initiatives and submit periodic reports on implementation status, challenges, and outcomes.
2. Document success stories, case studies, and feedback from the field. - Team Coordination
1. Supervise and guide local volunteers or field facilitators, if any, to ensure effective execution.
2. Support other district or cross-functional teams as needed.
- 2 to 3 years in the Social Impact / Development / Non-Profit sector.
- Exposure to project implementation, community engagement, and field coordination.
- Hands-on experience coordinating events, trainings, or welfare schemes at the grassroots level.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills in local language and English.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the district.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with state/national government schemes in education, livelihoods, health, or rural development.
- Knowledge of data collection tools, digital documentation, or MIS reporting is an added advantage.
- Candidates who are local residents of the district will be given preference.
